History and Purpose of the Association:
The Mid-South Cosmetology and Barber Association was created in 2009 for the Haircare Professionals in the Mid-South. We represent the interest, growth and prosperity of salon owners, hairdressers, barbers, nail technicians, esthecians, educators and students in the states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisania and Alabama. Our slogan is "It's Time for a Breath of Fresh Air", is our purpose to help to unify professionals to survive and grow in the 21st Century.Our sucess is marked by connecting black beauty salons, black barbers, black cosmetologis, black nail technicians, black supply stores, hair card manufactures and ultimately to the Association members and future members will be part of and very exciting organization that will be both beneficial and fun.

nhance thepromotion of the industry; establish and maintain trends; provide a strong network of industry; enhance the growth and development of hair care professionals in the Mid-South geographic area.
